Captain America’s Movie Look Unveiled in an Exclusive Comic-Con Poster!

Next Summer Captain America will release in theaters everywhere. “Captain America: The First Avenger” will come out in July of 2011.

Yahoo was the first to get these exclusive shots of the posters that will be distributed this weekend at the annual San Diego Comic-Con.

The concept painting shows Captain America fighting in a War. Looks like a very early Captain America.

Captain America is wearing what appears to be less of a costume and more of a military uniform. He still has on the red, white, and blue. Star is still on his chest. Leather gloves and military style boots.

A huge change is his headpiece. He’s wearing a helmet instead of a cowl. No wings on his ears.

I am happy to see that they didn’t take away his shield. That would be like having Batman without the Batarangs.

I can’t wait to see movie stills from this soon. Seeing as Marvel has release tons of Thor photos already.

“Captain America: The First Avenger” be released on July 22.
